When trying to create a New Message in GroupMail, some Windows XP Users are reporting a Run-time Error 372:  Failed to load control ‘HTMLEditorComponent’ from ‘ThinkHTMLEditor.ocx.  Your version of ThinkHTMLEditor.ocx may be outdated….

To resolve this please do the following :

Close GroupMail.

Go to the Start Menu, Run Command and type in the following command then press OK

REGSVR32 /u GMHTMLEditor.ocx

Now type :

REGSVR32 “C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Triedit\triedit.dll”

Once registered, type the following and press Run again.

REGSVR32 “C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Triedit\dhtmled.ocx”

Finally then type and press Run

REGSVR32 GMHTMLEditor.ocx

Now start GroupMail and try to open a New Message, the error should no longer appear.
