Over the years people regularly asked for this capability in GroupMail, well eventually we managed to do something about it. The new Fax Add-on (beta) is now available as a download from the Customer System. Simply login and download/run the installation (the link is in the GroupMail 5 Supporting Items section of Downloads for Business Edition licenses).

Once installed the Fax Add-on icon appears in the Main GroupMail toolbar, faxes can be sent via a compatible fax modem/card over phone line(s) or using a web service ( Further details available here).

In short HTML and plain text messages can be composed using a similar editor to that currently used for email and sent using a simple wizard process. There are still a number of minor issues to be sorted out, but we will be releasing some updates over the next few weeks as needed.
