Windows Live does not support direct imports from their contact database. To that end, it is necessary to first export your email contacts from Windows Live and then import them into GroupMail.

Here’s how to do it:

1. Log on to your Windows Live Hotmail account.
2. In the left pane, click Contacts.
3. On the Windows Live Hotmail toolbar, click Options, then click Export Contacts.
4. Under Export contacts, click Export contacts.
5. When prompted to open or save the file, click Save.
6. Select a location to save the file, and then click Save.
   

* Note The default file name is WLMContacts.csv.

Then, you can import that .csv file into GroupMail following the tutorial to import recipients from a delimited file type into GroupMail.
