Managing Email Subscriptions, Unsubscribe Requests and Bounces with GroupMail

Both the Personal and Business Editions of GroupMail come installed with the Subscriber Add-on. Subscriber makes it easy to manage your email lists. You can automatically add recipients to your list who subscribe on a web form, remove existing recipients from your list who unsubscribe and delete invalid addresses which bounce.

GroupMail users also have access to an email subscription form generator that makes it easy to create an email subscription form to put on your website or blog.

We have instructions for configuring GroupMail’s Subscriber Add-on to remove or exclude email recipients who unsubscribe from your list on our tutorial page. You only have to configure Subscriber once, tell it where to look for new email subscriptions, unsubscribe requests and bounces; what to look for and what action to take when it finds those messages. GroupMail will do the rest after that.

We also have a short video that will walk you through configuring Subscriber.

How to Configure GroupMail’s Subscriber Add-on to Process Unsubscribe Requests (Video)

One of the most important aspects of email marketing is good list management. Adding and removing subscribers to and from your list in a timely manner will improve your sender reputation with ISPs and, more importantly, the people on your list. GroupMail’s Subscriber Add-on makes email list management easier.
