How to Export MS Access Contacts as a .CSV File and Import Them into GroupMail
Exporting MS Access database records as a .csv file isn’t always so straightforward. However, there is an export utility in MS Access that allows you to do this.
How to Export MS Access Database contacts as a .csv file
- Open the Access Table that you want to export
- Click File (Menu) –> Export
- Save as Type –> Text Files (Don’t use the “Save Formatted” option)
- In the Export Text Wizard, select “Delimited” and click Next
- Select “Comma” delimiter and “As Text” qualifier
- Select “Use Field Names on First Row” if you want a header row (although this isn’t necessary)
- Click “Next” and give the file a name that you will remember for importing later.
You can then import that .csv file into GroupMail.
