An error occurred while trying to replace the existing file:DeleteFile failed; code 5. Access is denied.

Ignoring the error and proceeding with the install did not appear to cause any problems with sending faxes, but nevertheless this error should no longer appear during installation.

The update is available via the customer system.

Finally, thanks to everyone that took the time to send in feedback on this new add-on, we will try to incorporate as much as possible into future updates.

Once installed the Fax Add-on icon appears in the Main GroupMail toolbar, faxes can be sent via a compatible fax modem/card over phone line(s) or using a web service ( Further details available here).

In short HTML and plain text messages can be composed using a similar editor to that currently used for email and sent using a simple wizard process. There are still a number of minor issues to be sorted out, but we will be releasing some updates over the next few weeks as needed.
